François Sabbio — Vision 57 Studio

François Sabbio

Interior Designer & Project Manager — Founder of Vision 57 Studio

A graduate in Environmental Design from the University of California, Berkeley, François Sabbio shaped his vision of architecture in one of the most demanding design schools in the world. It was there — between design studios and debates on space and livability — that a conviction took root: a well-conceived space genuinely changes the lives of those who inhabit it.

After Berkeley, he joined an architecture firm in San Francisco — his first real encounter with the demands of a live project, the pressure of detail, the expectations of clients. He then broadened his expertise as an interior designer and project manager within a group, before working as a site manager on data centre construction projects — environments where technical precision and deadline compliance allow no room for approximation.

It is this dual culture — spatial sensibility and operational command — that underpins Vision 57 Studio. A human-scale studio, based in Nantes, with a simple ambition: to bring to every project the same quality of attention and execution found in the most demanding work.

Our values

Listening

Every project starts with a conversation. Understanding your needs, your lifestyle and your aspirations is our first priority.

Creativity

We seek original, personalised solutions — far from off-the-shelf answers. Your interior should reflect who you are, not a catalogue.

Rigour

From material selection to site supervision, we bring meticulous attention to every detail to deliver results that match the vision.

Transparency

Clear fees, schedules respected, fluid communication. You always know exactly where your project stands.

Our approach

We approach every project as a blank page. No imposed style, no ready-made solutions. We draw from a wide register — contemporary, reinterpreted classic, minimalist, warm and textured — to create exactly the atmosphere you're looking for.

Based in Nantes, we have deep knowledge of the local architectural heritage — Haussmann buildings in the city centre, traditional Nantaise houses, industrial lofts on the Île de Nantes — and know how to bring out the best in each property type.

For expat and international clients, we also provide full guidance through the French renovation process: contractor selection, permit applications, and coordination with local tradespeople — all explained clearly in English.
